Posting rules

These rules keep the site useful and trustworthy for the whole community. An ad that breaks them may be marked unavailable or deleted.

1. Who can publish?

Any adult with an account (Google or email). Professionals are welcome, provided they clearly say they are acting as professionals and meet the obligations of their trade.

2. A clear and honest ad

• One ad per item, service or offer; no duplicates or repeated reposting.
• Choose the right category and, for Property & Business, the right type: home for rent, home for sale or business for sale.
• An accurate title and description; photos that really show what you offer and that you have the right to use.
• Mark the ad “unavailable” as soon as the offer has ended.
• Do not publish another person’s contact details or photos without their consent.

3. Housing and jobs: no discrimination

It is forbidden to refuse a home or a job, or to state a preference, because of origin, nationality, religion, sex, age, disability, family situation or any other ground prohibited by law. A rental ad may, however, state the rent, charges, size and the number of occupants suited to the home.

For job offers, follow employment law (no undeclared work, no pay below the legal minimum).

4. Prohibited content and products

• Weapons, ammunition, drugs, medicines, counterfeit, stolen or dangerous goods.
• Sexual, violent, hateful or defamatory content, or content that invades someone’s privacy.
• “Easy money” offers, pyramid schemes, unauthorised loans or investments, illegal gambling.
• Sale of animals that does not follow the rules (identification, minimum age, mandatory information).
• Requests for sensitive information: verification codes, passwords, full bank details.
• Any good or service whose sale or promotion is prohibited in France.

5. Safety tips

• Meet in a public place and check the item or visit the home before paying anything.
• Never pay a deposit, rent or advance before visiting the home and signing a contract.
• Be wary of prices that are too low, urgent requests and people who refuse to meet.
• Never share a code received by text message (OTP), a password or your full bank details.
• TamilMarket does not check or guarantee the ads: if in doubt, report the ad.

6. How long ads stay online

Ads are deleted automatically after 90 days, with their photos. You can publish the offer again if it is still current.
